Remove paint and putty in no time! Window renovation has never been easier!

Take care of your old windows, they are a big part of the soul of the house.

Remove paint and putty from a regular window without mullions in just 15 minutes. Any loose putty, peeling paint or moisture in the window sash will only be a memory. A professional renovation of your windows will cost you around €200 per piece, and installing new windows is a considerable investment. With the Speedheater System RS and the accompanying tools you can remove paint from windows yourself, safely and easily, while saving a lot of money.

The Speedheater IR System processes both putty and paint in the same phase, softening it all the way down to the wood surface at the first treatment. At the same time, any moisture in the window sash is dried out. The low temperature reduces the risk of the glass breaking. The window tools simplify the paint scraping work and minimize the need for any further refinement.

It is also important to have good scrapers that make the work easier. When choosing window tools, choose good quality ones. Here in this category with tools for window renovation, you will only find high quality products that make the work easy and that reduce the risk of damage to the window itself. All of our Speedheater machines are designed to be excellent as a putty lamp that softens paint and putty.

Whether you need to remove cracked window putty, a little putty residue, or dry linseed oil putty, it's easier with Speedheater. The tool processes and dissolves putty and paint in the same step. The end result is wood-clean putty seams and window frames, and the new attachment surface makes it easy to re-putty the window.

“Like a heat gun that doesn’t damage the window glass,” a customer asked. Yes, almost, but not quite, because working with the Speedheater IR lamp for window renovation is choosing a completely new method. The infrared light sets the paint molecules in motion, which in turn creates heat from the inside of the substrate and out, so we can maintain a much lower and more gentle working temperature. The low temperature and control of the heat reduces the risk of cracking in the glass.

When renovating old windows, we recommend that you protect your windows using either aluminum tape or a piece of cardboard wrapped in foil to cover glass panes, bars and old scratches. Aluminum deflects IR light and reduces stress in the glass.
